World-renowned opera conductor Carlo Rizzi will join forces with his award-winning violinist brother Marco for their first ever joint concert in Wales next weekend. While Carlo is a familiar face in this country thanks to his long association with Welsh National Opera, the event in Cardiff will be Marco's debut in Wales.

The brothers, who live hundreds of miles apart - Carlo is based in Penarth, near Cardiff, while Marco is in Germany - are also looking forward to a family reunion. Their mother Enrica and sister Elena will travel from their native city of Milan to see them perform together.
