A lot of smallholders would give their right arm for a rotavator. When we first got ours, we were thrilled. Bought for just pounds 50 from an ad on a website for smallholders, it had a sturdy Briggs and Stratton engine and had been well-maintained. The owner was only giving it up because he had bought a bigger, more powerful machine.
It was fantastic. Using it was just like having a hired help to do the digging for you, and we wondered how we'd ever managed without it.
