Summary
We love adventurers and one of the best known ones has to be Robert Falcon Scott. Scott (June 6, 1868, to March 29, 1912) came second in the so-called 'Race to the South Pole', behind the Norwegian Roald Amundsen but he died, along with four companions, while trying to return to the safety of their base.
