Sir - In response to Dr Brian Gibbon's article 'Regulation has vital role in improving standards' (Western Mail, February 27), at the GMC we are pleased to be involved in Thursday's conference arranged by the Welsh Assembly Government and the Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence where Welsh members from all nine health regulatory bodies will meet for the first time.
The GMC realised that by opening an office in Wales it would enable us to respond to devolution more effectively and develop better relationships with our partners in Wales, including patients and the public.See the full content of this document
