NFU Cymru has welcomed a decision by the Gangmasters Licensing Association to exempt sheep-shearers from the need to obtain a licence.
The union says the decision to classify the clippers used by shearers as machinery, and therefore exempt, will save farmers extra costs. NFU Cymru livestock board chair Ed Rees welcomed 'this commonsense approach'.See the full content of this document
