A RECENTLY launched Swansea company has secured a pounds 1m contract to install an innovative water treatment plant at Shell's gas terminal site in Co Mayo, Ireland.
The plant, built by Watertec Solutions, uses electro-coagulation technology to clean groundwater contaminated by aluminium-rich clay and peat run-off water which other treatment processes fail to treat. The process has been known for about 100 years, but has recently become more popular with advances in technology.See the full content of this document
