Christmas revellers have been urged to make an anonymous tip-off to the police if friends who have been drinking insist on trying to drive home. The call by road safety pressure group Brake comes as Home Office research reveals one in eight people had been driven by someone during the previous year whom they thought was 'over the limit'.
