ECONOMIC growth slowed to 0.2% in the first quarter of the year, lower than many economists predicted, figures showed yesterday.
Data released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed an expansion of 0.2% from January to March - the second consecutive quarter of growth - but was lower than the 0.4% growth seen in the final quarter of 2009 and the 0.4% predicted by many leading economic experts.See the full content of this document
