Summary
Evidence of a cooling in the rate of house price increases in Wales was confirmed today by new research. The Principality Building Society's Welsh housing market survey for the year to the end of June 2004 shows property prices rose on average 32%.
However, the rate was down slightly on the 32.2% year-on-year price increase figure recorded to the end of March - breaking a cycle of quarterly increases stretching back to January 2001.See the full content of this document
