A mother has told an inquest how she called to collect her young son from his great-grandparents and discovered all three were killed by carbon monoxide fumes. Adele Forbes, 23, let her five-year-old son McCauley stay overnight at the home of Patrick Chidgey, 71, and his wife Gloria, 68, as a special treat.

McCauley was close to 'Nanny and Bampy' and loved spending time with them.
