A SOLDIER from the 2nd Battalion, The Royal Welsh has become the 200th member of Britain's Armed Forces to die in Afghanistan.
The victim, who is expected to be named today, died at Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham, two days after he was seriously hurt while on a vehicle patrol in Helmand.See the full content of this document

Royal Welsh Soldier Becomes 200th to Die in Afghanistan ; More Questions Over Conflict As Death Toll Rises
His death on Saturday was followed by that of a soldier from the 2nd Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, who became the 201st member of Britain's Armed Forces to die since the start of Operation Herrick, the Ministry of Defence's codename for the Afghan war, in 2001.
