Solway Recycling Ltd has begun an on-farm collection service in Wales following the collapse of Second Life Plastics of Carmarthenshire. Company operations manager Chris Hartshorne said the decision to extend the collection service to Wales followed the demise of the localised scheme, which has been unable to get grant aid to develop a recycling plant.
Solway Recycling will transport the material to its base at Dumfries - a short distance away from the separate company that used to receive the waste plastic from Second Life Plastics.See the full content of this document
