SIR - The classroom misbehaviour and violence described in your report (March 29) is symptomatic of deeper problems that many children face in a broken society.
Plenty of evidence links behaviour like this to an unstable home life. But domestic stability has been undermined for years by a benefits system that drives people apart and a tax system that does not recognise marriage. Maybe that is why Unicef ranked the UK last in the developed world for child well-being and we have 96,000 children living in severe poverty in Wales.See the full content of this document
