Summary


SOmetimes a phrase sums up a whole social problem so neatly that it's difficult to improve on it. The Equal Opportunities Commission said yesterday that despite 30 years and more of equality legislation, women are 'still more likely to be taking notes of the meeting or making the tea'.

Until society can pass the tea-making test, we'll all have to accept that sex discrimination still exists and that we have a duty to do something about it.
