Summary
Young people have been encouraged to take up a career in the building industry - by taking part in a competition to build something from sugar cubes. Sixteen pupils from Bishop of Llandaff School in Cardiff battled to build the highest possible free- standing structure of sugar cubes in one hour - and win pounds 250 for their school in the process.
The event was sponsored by Midas Construction and was part of National Construction Week which aims to highlight the range of careers in the industry available to young people. It was also supported by ConstructionSkills.See the full content of this document
