A joyful cheer has risen from educationalists and politicians over the past week in celebration at the decision of global drinks giant, Coca- Cola to remove its branding from vending machines in schools.
The company has more than 4,000 vending machines spread across 1,500 schools in the UK and, not only have they taken the commercially courageous decision to replace the luminous, giant- sized images of Coke and Fanta with innocuous images of 'children at play,' but they are also to introduce a healthier balance of juices and mineral waters into machines.See the full content of this document
