Summary


FOOD blogger and author Simon Majumdar travelled the globe in an epic quest to "go everywhere and eat everything" and among the things to tickle his tastebuds were mutton kebab rolls in Mumbai and sweet eels in Japan. But the half Welsh, half Bengali, Rotherham- raised writer's favourite dish is a simple Indian Dhal, a family recipe cooked by his late mother, who was born and raised in the Rhondda.

Majumdar will be demonstrating his family Dahl recipe, and regaling audiences with tales of his culinary journey, at next weekend's Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival.
