A MAN accused of strangling his lover and burying her in a shallow grave said his religious faith drove him to return to the site several times to pray.

Polish cheese cutter Lukasz Reszpondek told police that divorcee Ermatati Rodgers. known as Tati, had collapsed and died in his flat while he was having a shower and that he buried her in a panic, a court heard yesterday.
