WHILE his good friend Bryn Terfel has been forced to postpone his annual music festival this year, tenor Rhys Meirion has managed to fight the recession and pull together his own threeday event.

Festival of Hope/Gw yl Gobaith is being staged in the grounds of Gwysaney Hall in Mold this weekend to raise funds for a children's hospice.
