It was revealed yesterday that two patients given negative results by Dr Roger Williams, now a former consultant histopathologist at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, later died. But the hospital's trust says that though the patients died the flawed biopsy results would have made no difference to their survival chances. A spokesperson said other tests besides the biopsies revealed the true state of the patients' health.
