SIR - I must comment on the letter from Martin Phillips (Oct 9) regarding his comments on the Irish vote for the Lisbon Treaty.
May I ask why exactly the Irish were made to vote again on October 2 when they had already voted No last year? Democracy EU style? Mr Phillips is incorrect when he declares that Ukip sent leaflets to every household in Ireland, as the leaflets were distributed by the Europe for Freedom & Democracy Group of which Ukip is one of many different members.See the full content of this document
