Now he has put his adventures in a book and gives us a glimpse of it here DEWI PWS, actor and all-round entertainer, is an unwilling traveller who has managed to travel the world as part of his Byd Pws series for S4C. His latest book Fo a Fi gyda'i help Hi (Gwasg Carreg Gwalch, pounds 7editor: Lyn Ebenezer) contains notes from 18 of his trips to the four corners of the world and include meeting the King of the Zulus to seeing the Dalai Lama. He also gets a glimpse of one of the old gods of the Mayan people and met the original Crocodile Dundee. The one thing that binds everything together is Dewi's love of people and his respect for different cultures and traditions. The television series won a Royal Television Society Award. 'A spot of detective work took me to Guatemala in the middle of South America. What was the task ahead of me? Primarily I was there to witness the Easter celebrations, meet the people, see the odd volcano and visit the jungle.
