Summary
90-91: Three years after Sir Alex Ferguson infamously crashed his 14th birthday celebrations to tempt him from the clutches of City, Giggs makes his United debut, coming on as a substitute for Dennis Irwin in a 2-0 defeat against Everton.
91-92: Makes first league start in the Manchester derby and scores the only goal of the game. United miss out on the league as Leeds pip them to the post, but Giggs' first full season sees him win the European Super Cup, League Cup and the PFA young player of the year award.
