One in three people have admitted lying to their partner about their finances, research shows. A poll of 2,700 adults revealed that most were in 'debt denial', lying about their financial situation to family, friends and even financial advisers.
One in 50 aged over 50 lied about pension policies, 'burying their head in the sand', internet firm MSN, which did the study, said. Many of those questioned were too embarrassed to face up to financial realities.See the full content of this document
