THE third sector needs to be used more in the delivery of public services, says the Wales Council for Voluntary Action.

Ahead of this May's Assembly elections the body is calling on all parties to recognise what it says is the "critical contribution" the third sector makes to the provision public services, but also to formulate policies to encourage further expansion.
