MATERIAL GIRL BBC One Wales, 8pm It's glossy, silly and probably doesn't really reflect life as a fashion designer. Nevertheless, we just can't get enough of Ali and her efforts to hit the big time. Perhaps it's the charm of Lenora Crichlow, above, who takes the lead role, making us tune in week after week. This week, Ali's big day dawns - the one that should see her enter the realms of fashion royalty. Obviously Davina isn't going to allow her to have the limelight all to herself, so organises her own show that could take audience members away from Ali's event. Matters look set to reach breaking point when the up-and-coming designer's estranged mother turns up.
