THE limited use of the Welsh language in EU meetings was agreed yesterday-but there are no plans for it to become Europe's 25th "official" language.

A deal signed in Brussels by the UK's ambassador to the EU, Sir Kim Darroch, means Welsh ministers can, if they wish, address EU ministerial gatherings in Welsh, with interpretation into English.
