According to Victor Hugo, music is 'that which cannot be put into words, yet must not remain unsaid.'

The same can be true of dance. Choreography is not a substitute for words, nor an illustration of them, but it has the potential to transcend words, to show why in describing certain ideas and experiences and feelings, there aren't any perfect words.
