A battalion of Welsh soldiers were celebrating their return from Iraq last night . Soldiers from B (Rorke's Drift) Company 2nd Battalion The Royal Welsh returned home to their barracks at Tidworth, Wiltshire, after a successful six-month deployment.
Led by Company Commander Major Steve Webb, 37, from Swansea, the 141 soldiers, dressed in their desert combats, marched on to the parade ground led by the Band of the Prince of Wales's Division playing Men of Harlech. They were greeted by wives, girlfriends and families, some of whom had travelled from Wales to welcome home their loved ones.See the full content of this document
