Summary
Welsh hauliers plan to take a convoy of lorries over to Ireland next month in a protest over the high cost of fuel. Alan Greene, regional chairman of the Hauliers Association, will lead 16 trucks across the Irish Sea to demonstrate how much cheaper fuel is elsewhere in the EU.
Despite the ferry crossing, Mr Greene, who was one of the leaders of the fuel blockades of 2000, estimates he and his fellow hauliers will save at least pounds 350 on 1,400 litres of fuel by the trip.See the full content of this document
