'With the Average House Unaffordable in 95% of Towns, First Time Buyers Won't Haveaneasytimeofit'

House prices in Wales are next year forecast to go up by 3%, the lowest level for more than a decade, according to the UK's largest mortgage lender.

The figure was one of several financial predictions by Halifax for 2007, revealing mixed fortunes for Welsh savers, homeowners and would-be first time buyers.
