Residents in a Welsh seaside village fear that their evening peace will soon be shattered by the sound of high-velocity missiles being tested. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority has approved plans for night firing on a range bordering Manorbier, which lies in the shadow of a medieval castle.

The decision has not only paved the way for more testing of state- of-the-art weaponry, it has also split the community.
