First Minister Rhodri Morgan yesterday confirmed that the Welsh Development Agency brand will be scrapped when the organisation is brought into the civil service. Speaking at the National Assembly yesterday, he told AMs, 'The Welsh Development Agency and the Wales Tourist Board will cease to exist as legal entities from April next year, and the brand names or logos or labels for the new merged organisation will need to reflect new realities not past achievements.'
