Wales' new make-over queen last night declared Trinny and Susannah's 'snobby' attitude to clothes was not the way to dress real people. Jane Davies was asked to be Wales' answer to the What Not to Wear duo, but politely said she would be far more sensitive to her 'models'. The Merthyr-born designer now based in North Wales, will present the new ITV Wales series Family Fashion. Each week, Jane tackles a different style dilemma when people nominate a relative in need of an image overhaul.

But she vows never to resort to the same tactics as the pair of harsh-talking fashionistas.
