Earlier this month, there were a lot of references in the press to the Cardiff School of Journalism. I wondered at first what goes on in a school of journalism.

It must be hard to teach people how to write for the press, because so much would depend on what section of the press they were aiming at. Suppose, say, that you have an aptitude for writing punning captions for the Sun's Page Three pictures. I do feel that's a talent you would have to be born with.
