Struggling Glamorgan are confident they still have the necessary resources to avert relegation from the totesport League. After losing last Sunday by eight wickets to Lancashire at Colwyn Bay - the scene of their 2004 title victory - Glamorgan have slipped into the Division One relegation zone.

But with five games to go leading run-scorer David Hemp believes Glamorgan are good enough to stay up despite the club suffering such a grim, confidence-sapping season, and being without an overseas player for the last 10 weeks of the campaign.
