SIR - First Minister Carwyn Jones' essay on our relationship with the EU ("I am proud to celebrate Wales being a European nation", May 13) is a fair and balanced assessment of the benefits that working with our European colleagues has brought to Wales.
We now live in a Europe that has produced greater peace, stability and economic co-operation than ever before. Key progress on workers' and consumer rights, job creation, reducing inequality and poverty as well as environmental protection and law enforcement with regards to terrorism, drug trafficking and organised crime, would not have been possible without the 27 Member States coming together in partnership.See the full content of this document
