A welshman who runs one of the world's premier diamond mining companies has bought the US jewellers that supplies movie stars such as Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz with their gems.: Gem Burton 'had to buy':The Taylor-Burton diamond was a 69-carat pear-shaped gem cut from a giant 240-carat rough diamond found in South Africa's Premier Mine. Harry Winston bought the rough stone and he and his cleaver Pastor Colon Jr studied it for six months. Markings were made, erased and redrawn to show where the stone could be cleaved.
