Gareth james, whose career highlights include crossing swords with Sergio Garcia, enjoyed another when he was crowned PGA Titleist Assistant of the Year. The 27-year-old teaching professional from Clays Golf Centre in Wrexham landed the top award after beating off competition from 250 other young golf pros who were also graduating from the PGA's three year Foundation Degree.
