SIR - First Minister Carwyn Jones' assessment of devolution is plain in the article "Some in Whitehall saw devolution as an experiment, says Carwyn" (February 5).
When Scotland and Wales were awarded their devolved bodies it was obvious from the start the Scots, being granted a parliament with all but three powers devolved to it, wouldn't stand for anything less. The inhabitants of Wales being considered lesser breeds of a lower intellectual calibre, were given a useless talking shop, the Assembly - a sop just to keep us lot quiet!See the full content of this document
