Summary
Some 200 Ryanair passengers were stranded overnight at an Italian airport after their flight was delayed and then cancelled. Customers for the 10.30am flight from Bergamo were first told it was being held back because of bad weather. Then, after more delays, they boarded and were all strapped in when the captain announced at 1.55pm that his working hours were over. They all had to get off again.
The passengers were furious. Still, I think it's what is to be expected. When I take a no-frills flight, I am always amazed if it takes off anywhere near on time. That's why it's cheap.See the full content of this document
