Assembly Health Minister Edwina Hart has confirmed that free parking will be introduced at all NHS trusts that do not have contracts with private contractors by April 1, as predicted in yesterday's Western Mail.
The seven trusts with private car parking contracts in place - Bro Morgannwg; Cardiff and Vale; Carmarthenshire; Conwy and Denbighshire; North East Wales; Pembrokeshire and Derwen; and Pontypridd and Rhondda - will be ordered to start reducing their fees from June 1, eventually becoming free of charge by the end of their contract period.See the full content of this document
