AREPORT out this week from Waste & Resources Action Programme (Wrap) Cymru has revealed that three-quarters of local authority collected waste currently disposed of could actually be recycled or composted.

The Welsh Assembly Government's proposed target of recycling 70% of local authority collected waste by 2025, when matched against a recycling rate of 37%, shows that we have a long way to go.
