AS reported last week, the Welsh Conservatives' Economic Commission has published its report on the challenges facing the Welsh economy and, more importantly on the potential solutions that an Assembly Government could develop. Two of the major challenges identified for businesses are with respect to skills and internationalisation, where the skills of the Welsh workforce continue to compare poorly to the world's leading advanced countries, and Wales lags behind the rest of the UK in terms of export performance.
