SIR - IN the search for jobs for the people of Wales and in the continuous search for energy power sources the Assembly Government will grasp at any straw offered.
The new power station outside Newport, a wood chip power plant actually horrified me. Even a simple mind would know that wood fires are voracious.They create massive heat very quickly but they eat wood as if there is no tomorrow. I would like to know, after two years, how much wood has been used to keep that power plant alive. How many woods and forests will be needed to feed it.See the full content of this document
