Wrestling is a source of entertainment for millions of people the world over, despite having an often derided reputation. In its current guise as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) it is effectively a monopoly because it has no serious competition. Vince McMahon, the chairman of the formerly-titled WWF, bought out World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

Wrestling is currently suffering from a downturn since stars such as The Rock have left the industry. Wrestlemania is the annual showpiece in April, where classic showdowns such as The Rock against Stone Cold Steve Austin take place.
